Top Table

Rose Muree / Hagley Rd Birmingham Restaurant was booked for a birthday event - the moment we walked in - the service was impecable. We had drinks before our meal and there was no rush to the table etc. Food itself was mouthwatering - wish now we ordered more naan !! Will definately be going back there again.

We recently dined at Rose Murree for the second time. We tried a completely different set of menu items on each visit and on both occasions we have been delighted by the quality of the ingredients and the skill shown in the preparation, spicing and presentation of the food. This is Indian food, and it’s probably the best I ever had. Service was very good, swift and friendly without being obsequious. Would we go again? Of course!!

We had dinner at Rose Murree Restaurant on New Year’s Eve and we were so impressed that we came back for a Birthday.

Atmosphere: If you want to get away from your everyday typical Indian restaurant, this is the place to be. The atmosphere in this restaurant is intimate and almost Zen-like. It’s clean, modern and sophisticated. You could easily walk pass this restaurant on the busy Upper Street not knowing this is an Indian restaurant. Once you're inside, you lose the busy crowds outside, despite the big glass windows.

Service: Service is excellent. Staff are courteous, smiley and very approachable. Friendly yet professional.

Food: Not only is the food beautifully presented, but it’s cooked to perfection and flavoured wonderfully. If you are a starter person, I recommend the Mix grill. The specialities’ is delicious. I personally liked the variety of poppadom dips. Check out their full mouth-watering menu. Bare in mind, the food here is about quality more than quantity.

Value for money: If you're looking for a cheap curry after a night of heavy drinking, this is not the place. But if you want quality food, great service and atmosphere, then it's definitely good value for money. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

I was introduced to this restaurant by an acquaintance, and was pleasantly surprised. The décor was superb; it successfully married modern styling whilst also playing subtle tribute to the Restaurant’s roots.  The restaurant was very accommodating and made a dish I especially requested, and I have since ordered that whenever I consequentially return to the restaurant. Moreover, the ambience was extremely calm; it made me and my husband feel very relaxed, which ultimately made our evening much more enjoyable.

The highlight of the restaurant was the owner and his workers, who made us, feel very welcome. He and his team were extremely happy to help; they always kindly explained how each dish was made and whether or not the dish was to my taste. I feel that this extra level of care is becoming extremely hard to find in today’s society, and certainly differentiated my culinary experience to any other restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant to any connoisseur of food, with discerning tastes
